Our accelerator programme is designed for early stage startups with the aim of giving them a boost from 0 to 100. In the START Accelerator we take the startups through 3 phases: Define, Build, Grow, bringing them from idea to market within 3 months. Furthermore you’ll be able to train your pitch, participate in workshops, get your own mentor and get exposure in front of Business Angels and Investors.
Every student or recent graduate with an idea and/or involvement in an early-stage startup can apply. For the local programme in St.Gallen/Zurich one team-member of the startup has to live in Switzerland.

No, we are a non-profit student initiative. We do not take any equity/shares from the participating startups.
Our goal is that the whole programme will be free of charge for you. However, our bootcamp in Berlin requires additional ressources, that’s why we might need to charge a small travel fee. Therefore we are actively looking for partners to avoid the fee.
We do not provide funding per se, but our participating startups get the chance to win cash prizes at our investor day, at the end of the programme. There we provide networking opportunities with investors, which is a great chance to acquire the necessary funding.
The programmes are held locally: The St.Gallen/Zurich programme is held 50% in St.Gallen and 50% in Zurich with one weekend trip to Berlin.
The Nuremberg programme is held locally with one weekend trip to Berlin.
Starting your own startup is hard work, especially as a student, and requires a lot of energy and focus – so is it doable? Absolutely and that is why we are here, to help you make your dreams reality. Think about it? If not now, when?
The START Accelerator is built around four two to three day bootcamps including the trip to Berlin. At the end of the programme an Investor Day awaits the startups.
